About me
As a kid I was really into bats.
I was really curious about their uniqueness, this half mousey - foxish looking things that could fly without feathers, but mainly it was their nocturnal emergence that intrigued me most.
I think this initial interest in the dark led me to the darkroom in high school - and into photography, and has kept me there ever since. Whilst I haven't always been a photographer, it's always seems to be a driving reason as to why I do something - travel, live abroad, explore - always with some sort of camera in hand.
In 2016 I undertook a BFA with honors at UNSW Art and Design, as a way of really trying expand my creative output photographically. It was an invaluable education, as it has allowed to develop a fine art practice distinct from my professional one.
Having a background in landscape design, I keep my interest in this alive working with landscape designers and architects, and also for hospitality clients.
When I'm not shooting for clients, I assist other photographers as I believe that there is always more to be learnt through collaboration.
